I did need to take them to an optician to bend in the side arms slightly for a snugger fit on my head, but it was worth it. I’m so happy with my new sunnies and wear them everyday. What inspired us to do things differently?
It started with a forgotten pair of sunglasses on our wedding day—a five-day trek through Grand Teton National Park. After hours of searching local shops, everything Julie tried was too big, too flimsy, or simply not made for her. That moment—sun-squinty and a little frustrated—sparked an idea: why isn’t anyone making high-quality sunglasses for smaller faces?
Back in Florida, we turned that mishap into a mission. From dog walks to park days, our lifestyle inspired every design—and ello was born to make petite-fit sunglasses that feel as good as they look.
